    UNLIMITED DATA SERVICES: FAIR USE POLICY

    Our goal at Skyroam is to provide high-speed internet access to our entire community of users, anywhere and anytime! To ensure we optimize our data network to provide the best speeds to the most number of customers worldwide, we practice an industry standard Fair Use Policy, consistent with most mobile carrier and broadband company policies for mobile data usage. Because our network is a limited resource, customers who take a disproportionately high amount of data may experience reduced network speeds, based on location and service, so that we protect Fair Usage for all. To ensure you have uninterrupted high speed data, we strongly recommend disabling apps and features that consume data in the background, including cloud syncing, large system updates, auto-backups, auto-app updates, and avoid extended use of video streaming, gaming and other online activities that consume large amounts of data.  

     

    How much data will I get?

    With our unlimited data plans, you get 24 hours of unlimited global mobile data though your Skyroam hotspot’s personal WiFi network. While your data will not run out during the 24 hr period, data speeds may vary by location and service during that time, based on local carrier bandwidth and your total data consumption level as laid out in our Fair Use Policy.

     

    What you should know …

    If you subscribe to our Unlimited Monthly Subscription or purchase our Unlimited Daypass, you will pay a flat rate no matter how much data you consume.

    You will always receive unlimited data but may at times notice reduced high-speed in areas with network congestion. (I notice many wireless/mobile company uses the phrase ‘network congestion’)

    If you are experiencing reduced speed, it is likely due to our data prioritization practice. This practice helps to optimize overall network and connectivity performance for all our customers.

    Your unlimited data usage will reset every 24-hours so our data prioritization practice will only apply if you are experiencing network congestion.
